Live yarns are personal, challenging, instructive and offer hands on participation and immediate clarification whether your seeking personal counselling, cultural supervision or professional supervision. Our Counsellors and Supervisors are accredited through ACA and all staff identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Australian.

Live sessions refer to face to face catchups, phone or conversations through Teams or Zoom. Yarns can start as early as 8am and finish as late as 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (or Daylight Savings from October to April). Face to face catchups are available in the Gundungurra (Robertson NSW) Office. Video and phone sessions do come with the advantages of privacy, comfort in one’s own home and not having to travel. The disadvantage though is that when someone is in front of you, you can take in body language, which may be giving off an entirely different attitude to the words being used (for instance, say the same thing with a smile and then a frown). Also video may require you to have updated technology. See below for an outline of a live session or for other supports, click offline sessions, supervision, training or faq’s.
